About Me
I am a fully qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and a member of the British Association for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BACP).
I am able to provide a caring, safe, supportive and confidential space for clients in which they can talk and explore their feelings, concerns, thoughts, worries, beliefs or behavioural patterns at a pace that is comfortable for them. Reflecting on relevant past experiences or aspects of their childhood.
I listen and help clients to process and understand whatever is distressing them, without fear of judgement or being told what to do. Helping them ultimately to discover appropriate ways of coping with problems and feelings to engage in a more effective way.
Sessions are client led and I work integratively drawing on multiple therapeutic disciplines depending on the presenting issue or areas of concern. I offer solution focused short term counselling or long term open ended psychotherapy.
Alongside my private practice I work as a NHS Staff Counsellor and as a School Counsellor in the Surrey and Greater London area offering counselling to clients. I have many years experience working with adults and adolescents.
